How to display children’s art

Every Child is an Artist

Baby Girl smiled when she saw it. Daddy T asked why we hadn’t done something like this before, and I was so pleased with the result I had to Instagram it straight away. Last Sunday’s DIY project was a huge hit.

We decorated a wall in the hall with a wall decal with the Picasso quote ‘Every Child is an Artist’, and hung a wire under it, where we can exhibit Baby Girl’s art. The wall decal is from Stephen Edward Graphics at Etsy, who also had the wire idea, and the wire and clips are from IKEA.

If our home didn’t feel enough like a family home after we put up the playpen in the living room, it definitely feels like one now.

LOVE IT! I am thinking of doing sth similar in our living room – the hall is already filled with zillion pictures from our trips. But there still is some space in the living room…hmmm 😉

Great to hear you like it. We’re really pleased with how it turned out, and it’s so cute that Baby Girl likes looking at it too – it really seems to cheer her up!

I think if I remember right, I found a scan of a thank you bag, used a generic sans-serif font to start with , and then created outlines and manipulated the vectors to fit better. Thank you for sharing.
