Keeping baby and kids clothes soft with Comfort Pure Ultra-Concentrated

Baby RobeWhen Big Girl was a baby I was super focused on ensuring her clothes were soft and I was buying mainly organic cotton, Pima cotton, bamboo, cashmere and merino wool.

My favourite baby brands quickly became the ones that used soft materials, and I didn’t dress her in anything that could seem uncomfortable on delicate baby skin.

To keep the softness in children’s clothes, I’ve been excited to learn more about the new long-lasting Comfort Pure Ultra-Concentrated fabric conditioner from Comfort, which sent us a gorgeous hamper of pure softness, including a super soft Flynn Ryder softie created from a drawing by Big Girl.

I was always very concerned about what to use on clothes-not to mention Big Girl’s favourite Teddy-in the early days, and I didn’t use fabric conditioner because I wasn’t aware there was one designed to be gentle on baby’s skin. I was glad to hear now, however, that Comfort Pure fabric conditioner is aimed at providing softness for the whole family, and the formulation is dermatologically tested, has a low level of perfume inclusion and no added dye.

I can see how much Big Girl appreciates soft clothes, and she even cuddles her cardigans if they feel nice and soft on her skin. In the hamper we received some super soft White Company robes, which we’ve snuggled up in this summer, and Big Girl and Baby Boy have loved wearing their cozy robes after playing in the pool and getting wrinkly fingers. In fact, on some days they’ve delayed getting back into normal clothes and have instead been sitting around on the terrace in fluffy robes eating ice cream.

I wish we could have hung out in soft robes by a pool all the time, but back to reality in London it makes a lot more sense to use a fabric conditioner to ensure the kids clothes are not causing skin irritations, but are perfectly huggable.
