On 20 December I was on the phone to London’s photo book specialist Bob Books, trying to confirm the cut-off time for Christmas orders. Everything was a bit late as usual.

In fact, a whole year late.

I was still working on the 2015 family photo books and really didn’t want grandparents and the last great grandparent to wait any longer for the newborn pictures of our now 18-month-old Baby Boy.

The best part was that I made the books on my phone, using the Bob Books iPhone app, as this made sense since I have images on my phone and could then work on the layout on the go. The page options in the app version are only for photos, but for more choice there are other ways to create the books. Bob Books offers a downloadable software, an online book creator, a professional book design service and a PDF to book option.

There’s also a new version of the app coming out in spring, and I hope they may then add the option to include a text page in photo books in the app version.

I will definitely want to order from Bob Books again–and I’m getting started ASAP to avoid having to do this anywhere near Christmas.
