When mum discovers CRU Kafe organic coffee capsules

The other day I was walking around feeling really annoyed with myself. I had as usual made the bad decision to buy a take-away coffee instead of making one at home, and my coffee that morning didn’t feel like a treat at all. It was most definitely not worth the £2.40 I’d paid, and the taste was so disappointing it made me want to write a letter to the manager of the place and suggest they change their coffee.

The one I would have liked to drink at home was CRU Kafe coffee. I received some CRU Kafe coffee capsule samples to try in the summer, but since I found very little time to sit down with a coffee in the early days with Baby Boy, I didn’t get a chance to try the capsules with our Nespresso machine before much later.

It wasn’t before I started seeing the see-through CRU Kafe capsules at events that I remembered why I’d liked the sound of CRU in the first place and had wanted to write about them.

The premium quality coffee is organic and ethically produced, featuring eco-friendly packaging. It is now available from Ocado (£3.49 for a pack of 12 capsules) and Harrods, for example, and when I’ve served it to mums at play dates at our house the feedback has been great–smooth and tasty quality coffee from a capsule.

I really need to stop buying not-so-good take-away coffees now.
