‘Wow!’

Seventeen-month-old Baby Boy doesn’t say a lot of words yet, but even he had to speak up when he spotted the Christmas tree in the living room on Friday.

London-based services company Fantastic Services had delivered a beautiful 7ft Nordmann Fir tree to review and installed it in our living room, ensuring it was straight and ready for us to decorate.

When I first heard about the service I was unsure if this would work for us since we usually go to a Christmas tree park to select our own tree. The Fantastic Services Gardener, however, turned up with a real premium-grade Christmas tree with thick needles, and we wouldn’t have been able to pick a better tree ourselves. The tree was exactly what we wanted, and the best part was that I didn’t have to search for the Christmas tree stand, which appears to be a regular challenge in our family.

This one came with a stand on, and the Fantastic Services Gardener moved it around and told me how to look after it. Later in the day, we also had a Fantastic Services professional come help put our decorations on the tree, ensuring the kids could get the tree finished straight away.

I would usually decorate the tree myself, but since Baby Boy is a very active toddler it was practically impossible for Big Girl, Baby Boy and me to put on the Christmas tree decorations without help from anyone else. I also realised we were running out of time to get through everything on the to-do list, as I’m still working on photo book gifts from 2015 and panicking about not even having ordered the photos to go in the Christmas cards.
