Outside the Lines brings effortlessly cool looks to girlswear scene

One of my favourite outfits for Big Girl last season included a tulle skirt with tassels she received from new girlswear brand Outside the Lines, and a jumper with pom poms that I bought from the same brand. It was unique and the cute and feminine details made it stand out.

After spending a lot of time on the Outside the Lines website in autumn, I was looking forward to previewing the new spring/summer collection this month and get a sneak peek of what’s to come for autumn/winter.

I could immediately see that this is a brand that will continue to excite me. In my view, they manage to combine quality with individuality, bringing out stylish girlswear that looks comfortable to wear but also feature interesting details.

For spring/summer, there are more cute details like tassels, pom poms and bows, and prints and looks that continue to appear to be inspired by the designer’s global travels.

My favourite pieces from the new collection include a navy embroidered playsuit with long sleeves (£42), which I could see being a holiday wardrobe staple for Big Girl, and a gold stitched blush pink jacket. I also love the mint-coloured textured jumper with pink pom poms (£35) paired with white shorts with pink tassels (£28).

If Big Girl had been into wearing trousers, the blue, super soft shimmer jogger with yellow tassels (£28) would have been on my list of summer essentials.

I think Outside the Lines makes it easy for girls to pull off an effortlessly cool look!

Outside the Lines has extended its size range for SS17 and sizes now go up to 13 years.
