Painting Easter decorations at Sammy Duder in Battersea

Easter Egg Cups Sammy DuderYesterday I had to pretend I was a mummy chick, which seemed like a pretty clear sign Easter is fast approaching. Three-year-old Big Girl is learning all about chicks and we’re suddenly playing chicks instead of princesses.

To get ready for Easter we also recently spent an afternoon at Sammy Duder in Battersea, where we’d been invited to paint pottery for Easter. Big Girl first found a dog she wanted to paint, so I had to get her back on theme, and talked her through why we needed egg cups for Easter.

The dog was soon forgotten, and she made us two adorable Easter chick and Easter bunny egg cups.

The little fingerprints will make up the bodies of an Easter chick family and an Easter bunny family, which the Sammy Duder team will paint on.

With our new super sweet egg cups, we’re setting up for an egg-celent Easter!

Sammy Duder pottery studio offers a variety of pottery to paint, and the egg cups are £5 each. In addition, there’s a studio fee charged per painter.
