Review: Classic Sleepycozy gingham baby and kids nightwear for summer weather

When I was putting Baby Boy and Baby Girl to bed on holiday in muggy weather the other day, I started searching for their Sleepycozy nightwear in our bag after everyone had been too hot on the first night.

Blue Gingham Romper SleepycozyBaby Boy had been wearing a different tight-fitted sleepsuit on the first night, and seemed uncomfortable when waking up. I knew his blue gingham cotton, romper from Sleepycozy (£20), which we received for him to try, would be a much better choice since it is loose fitting and has been great this summer.

The baby gingham rompers, available in pink and blue, are also practical since they have poppers between the legs for easy nappy changing at night, and Baby Boy looks very cute and comfy in his.

The only problem now was that his big sister was the only one with a soft and thin cotton Sleepycozy pyjamas in the bag–a beautiful long-sleeved pink gingham pyjamas (from £23) she received last year and has been wearing a lot. His was nowhere to be found though and I was gutted when I realised it had been left behind.

Lightweight, thin, loose fitting rompers would have been perfect for Baby Boy on a warm and humid night. Next time I’ll try to avoid packing after midnight!

Sleepycozy, a brand run by two West Sussex mums, has a range of classic English nightwear for babies and children , including summer styles ideal for warm weather.
