South West London pop-ups to take care of last minute half-term holiday shopping
After having breakfast in St Clements on Saturday I stopped by the Wiggy Kit pop-up in children’s shoe shop Papouelli on New King’s Road and it seemed to be the place to be for Fulham mums that morning. The brand, which was also started by a local mum, offers a collection of chic and smart resort wear with pieces that work equally well for the London school run and general city life . I bought a top and a dress, and I’ve already started wearing the top this week. Several friends have also been in to stock up before next week, and I’m sure the Wiggy Kit pop-up will be busy tomorrow when it’s their last day at Papouelli.
On Elizabeth Street, mums can get personalised beach baskets and canvas bags, as Rae Feather has popped up on the charming Belgravia shopping street. There’s a painter in the shop three days a week, including tomorrow and Saturday from 11am to 4pm, and initials can be painted onto many of the products. In addition to a wide selection of baskets, there are also other accessories in the shop, such as panama hats, and Rae Feather also has some beachwear. The shop is open until the end of the month.
