When baby starts becoming a fussy eater

Baby Girl is working hard to adapt to the French culture. She’s eating a few pieces of freshly-baked baguette without the crust with every meal. The baguette is a real saviour.

I can’t say she’s adapting as well to local fruit. It turns out Baby Girl likes her fruit to come from pouches that say Ella’s Kitchen.

The French brands are of no interest to her. Even my homemade attempt with banana, blueberries and strawberries hasn’t been a hit.

I can’t believe it’s gotten to this though. I didn’t expect her to be so fussy, but now I feel bad about having misjudged the number of fruit smoothies Baby Girl would want in the five days we were here without Daddy T.

I had to order more from Ocado in London and ask Daddy T, who already had a bag full of them, to fly in with a significant smoothie supply when he arrived.

I had originally packed most of Baby Girl’s smoothies in his bag too. Rookie mum. Never again.
