5 things to do in London in March

John Farnham’s Spring Children’s Fun Fair on Eel Brook Common
Eel Brook Common may well be the place to be tomorrow when there’s sun on the forecast. John Parnham’s Children’s Fun Fair has returned to the park, and four-year-old Big Girl can’t wait to go now that it’s the last weekend of the fair. The fun fair with rides and inflatables is open from 11am on Saturday 4 and Sunday 5 March.

The Art of The Brick – DC Super Heroes on South Bank
The world’s largest LEGO exhibition inspired by DC characters has now opened in a temporary structure on South Bank in London. The Art of the Brick – DC Super Heroes is open daily from 10am, and tickets are £16.50 per adult, £11 per child aged 4 to 16 and free for under 4s.

Family ‘recode’ workshops at Imagination Lab
The Institute of Imagination’s Imagination Lab, designed to foster young imagination, opened its doors in February on London’s Albert Embankment, and this weekend there are three-hour family workshops at the lab on both Saturday and Sunday. The ticketed events are aimed at demystifying ‘code’ with playful interactive activities that encourage crafting, programming and tinkering. Participants can create Morse code by building a transmitter, then create their own coding languages, set off a chain reaction of events, code with art by instructing a robot and learn about basic programming language and how to navigate the internet. The event is recommended for children aged 5 to 12 years, and all participants need to be accompanies by an adult.

The Osborne & Little Sale at The Royal Horticultural Halls
Later this month, mums may want to know there’s a two-day Osborne & Little sale in The Royal Horticular Halls in Westminster where there will be a wide selection of fabrics, wallpapers, cushions and ex-display items from Osborne & Little, Nina Campbell and Lorca at exceptional prices. The sale will be open on Thursday 23 March from 10.00am to 7.00pm and on Friday 24 March from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Mickey and Minnie Disney on Ice 100 Years

Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic at The SSE Arena, Wembley
In late March Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic arrives in London, featuring more than 50 Disney characters. We can’t wait to go review the show, which is the largest Disney on Ice show touring at the moment. The show brings 14 Disney stories to life on ice, and during the show the audience can sing a long to 30 Disney songs, including favourites like Let It Go and Hakuna Matata. Disney on Ice is playing at The SSE Arena, Wembley from 29 March to 2 April.
