Review: Luxury family photo shoot at Boggio Studios

It looked like we were going away. The car boot was filled with the Bugaboo and a bag of clothes for Baby Girl and me. The scooter and helmet had been securely placed in the passenger seat, and Baby Girl had been allowed to watch Peppa Pig on the iPad to survive the journey.

But we were not going far at all. We were only going on a 16-minute drive from Fulham to Wimbledon, where we had been invited for a one-hour photo shoot with Julia Boggio in Boggio Studios.

Boggio Studios is known for high-end luxury family photography, and I was very excited about the opportunity to get some fun, professional new photos for Mummy in the City. Tine Farstad on scooter

The Wimbledon photo studio is ideal for families. There is a large selection of family-themed props, which was great even though I felt I had packed loads, and the studio has changing facilities and an en-suite bathroom. There was music to get us in the mood, and the staff was very welcoming, with Julia’s assistant even keeping Baby Girl entertained throughout the shoot.

For me, this was a really fun day out that I know I’ll never forget. And since we have some fantastic photos from the shoot, I’ll also ensure Baby Girl will never forget what a great time we had !

A family photo shoot at Boggio Studios is £195. Boggio Studios also offers at-home photo shoots for £295 for London families. Around a week after the shoot, families are invited back to the studio to view images and purchase any products, including wall art, albums, and digital images.

Julia Boggio is climbing Mt Kilimanjaro in August and raising £10,000 for Mummy in the City’s chosen charity Borne, which focuses on preventing disability and death in childbirth and creating lifelong health for mothers and babies. Please support Julia’s fundraising campaign HERE.
