Shopping for baby wool clothes

Daddy T had never heard about Wool Week UK before. He didn’t really understand why we needed to celebrate it either. But Baby Girl and I knew better. We took it very seriously.

We’ve covered a range of different wool types in our shopping and going out outfits this week. We’ve done cashmere, merino, lambswool and alpaca.

On Thursday, we joined the celebrations at Merino Kids in Northcote Road, and Baby Girl won a soft and practical nightgown in her first ever lucky dip.

She’s also done some online shopping this week, and her new Waddler Alpaca baby bag from Sisters Guild is a new autumn favourite, which keeps her warm in the pram.

I can now sense that she’s tempted to finish off her Wool Week celebrations by getting a hand-knitted cashmere dress from Sue Hill – particularly since there’s a 10% discount this weekend with code ‘birthday’.

I’m sure Daddy T won’t mind the price tag. He will probably just be very proud of his little girl for supporting a wool campaign at the age of eight weeks. She’s a star.

This is great! But I think, alpaca wool is more suitable for babies. Thanks for sharing!

The baby bag is in alpaca wool, and we love it. I think she’ll definitely be getting more alpaca clothes from Waddler. The bear suit with little ears looks very cute.

  2. This is great! But I think, alpaca made of fleece coat is more appropriate for infants. Thanks for sharing!
