Wear your bright pink trousers with red boots to stay on trend this season, and to complete the look, add a cute floral hairband. That’s the fashion advice I think Baby Girl would have given for spring/summer 2014.
Seventeen-month old Baby Girl is becoming very fashion-conscious, and on most days she’s got extremely strong opinions about what she wants to wear.
If we’re in a rush and I don’t have time for tantrums, I simply have to forget about the outfit I want her to wear. Instead, we end up having to explain our colour combos when we turn up at nursery or meet friends.
But I guess this is only the beginning. I probably have to start accepting that red and pink look smashing together, and unless I decide to buy Baby Girl more hairbands to choose from, it will probably be florals with everything. Hair clips are apparently so last week.
