Getting ready for flying with Miss Printables pretend play travel set

Miss Printables Printer Travel SetAfter putting the children to bed last night I went straight to my study. It looked like I was working really hard when Daddy T popped his head in, and when I came down later I was carrying a bunch of important-looking documents.

I don’t think he was expecting my important-looking documents to be a travel set I had printed for three-year-old Baby Girl and us to pretend we are going on holiday tomorrow though.

I’d received a link to download a printable travel set (£5.40) for children to review from Miss Printables, and I figured now was the perfect time to print the passports, holiday cards, boarding passes, luggage tags, travel money and more to have a fun indoor game lined up for a rainy weekend.

As a mum, I think it’s always good to have a few things up my sleeve when there’s a need to lift the mood. I have a shelf with art materials, which I often rely on, and I also like the idea of having printed toy sets for role play as a back-up. I really like the travel one from Miss Printables, as we love travelling and I’ve not seen any other similar role play toys, which are great for teaching children about the airport check-in process and holidaying. It’s also inexpensive and great for using either home or away since it’s simply printouts that can be written on for fun, thrown away when no longer needed and don’t take up any space whether it’s in a mum’s emergency shelf or in the hand luggage.

In fact, many of the Miss Printables products would be brilliant to keep in the bag. The company, launched by a mum earlier in the year, offers a range of family-friendly printables, such as a pretend food packaging set, pretend post office set, a pretend bank set, reward coupons and artwork. The designs are bright and colourful, and as long as there’s ink in the printer and scissors and glue around, it’s really fast and easy to get some new toys to play with.

Bring on the rain!
