When kids Christmas wish lists get longer by the second

Yesterday it could seem like Big Girl had been hired to advertise for Harrods. When I carried her out of the shop and down Hans Place, she was shouting non-stop:

“Harrods, Harrods, Harrods. Let’s go back to Harrods. I want to go back to Harrods”

She had seen a large pink Ty My Little Pony plush toy she wanted, and she was not happy about leaving the shop without one.

I thought she’d understood the concept of Christmas and writing a wish list, as she’s even offered to write one for me so I could ask FC for some gloves and a hat to keep me warm on the school run, but it’s clearly still not always easy to grasp that there’s a waiting period in the run up to Christmas.

There’s also the issue of wanting more and more. It started with Belle and Snow White princess costumes being the only two wishes, and she’s since added a roller pin for baking, a baby doll, a reindeer toy from LaplandUK, husky clothes, a Frozen hairband and now Ty My Little Pony plush toys and more.

I’m not sure how to get this right. She’s not going to get everything she wants, and she can’t keep coming up with new things when I tend to be pretty organised and do the Christmas shopping early.

Surely FC must have a cut-off date?
