Perks of flying with a one-year old
I was recently told that flying with children aged between one and three years old is the worst. But when I was flying with Baby Girl yesterday, I realised that there are definitely a few perks of travelling with a one-year old too–at least if compared to travelling with a newborn.
I’m no longer breastfeeding at take off and landing, which makes it less awkward to sit next to strangers on the plane. Yesterday I gave Baby Girl Organix Cheese and Herb Puffs and water, and she was perfectly fine.
But best of all was what happened after take off. The stewardess came over with a kids fun pack, including an activity book and crayons. It was the very first time Baby Girl has received anything like this on a plane, and we both got very excited.
When we had finished eating, we did some colouring – both on the page and on other items within reach. Our new fun pack didn’t only keep Baby Girl busy on the plane, but me too. What a fab trip.
