When baby loves drumming
Daddy T is convinced Baby Girl has a future career on the show Stomp. She seems to be very determined to become a cast member. We see her practising relentlessly every day.
Just like they do on the show, she is drumming on plastic bags and waste bins and shaking her maracas, creating interesting rhythms. In fact, she’s drumming on everything she gets close to.
Our eight-month old could probably even bring some new ideas to the show. Bathroom scales, car seats, chairs, toy boxes, oven doors, floor tiles and bags. They’re all worth testing when it comes to making feel-good rhythms.
I’ve heard other parents say they’re trying to find out what type of schools would suit their little ones. I think we already know. One that has a strong emphasis on drumming and rhythmic music would be just fine.
