Making a scary mummy jar lantern
On Tuesday Baby Girl spent more than an hour straight in the art room at family club Purple Dragon in Chelsea. Halloween art is apparently very hot at the moment, and it’s something she’s dedicating a lot of time to this half-term. I’ve loved getting some new Halloween decorations from her though, and on Tuesday my favourite was her spooky mummy jar lantern.
How to make a mummy jar lantern:
1. Cover a jam jar in weave bandage
2. Glue on googly eyes
3. Paint a few streaks of ‘blood’ in red paint
4. Use with a battery-operated tealight
