Review: PacaPod Sydney changing bag for luxury and functionality
When Baby Girl was little I was suffering from changing bag envy. A friend from my antenatal group had a PacaPod changing bag and I loved the little pods for feeding and nappy change, which had been included with her bag. That’s why I asked PacaPod to review one of their bags after Baby Boy arrived, and I’ve been very excited with the new Sydney PacaPod I received, which now comes everywhere with me.
The charcoal PacaPod Sydney leather changing bag, part of PacaPod’s luxury range, oozes quality and is incredibly practical for a busy city life. The functional bag, which can be used as a handbag or a cross-body bag, appears to have a compartment for everything, and it even comes with packing suggestions, making it easy to be organised and focus on baby instead of spending time on searching through an overfilled bag.
In the first week I used it, I kept finding new features, and got super excited when I discovered a little strap with a hook for my keys, so I always find my keys quickly now. I also found a separate compartment for first aid in the changer pod, a little pouch in the same pod for spare clothes, and back pack straps and cutlery zip pocket on the cool bag feeder pod, which can keep bottles warm up to 3 hours – all brilliant.
I also love the fact that PacaPod Sydney comes with pram attachment clips and fits perfectly on Baby Boy’s Stokke Scoot v2 pushchair. In addition, the pods clip nicely into one of the bag compartments, and can also be clipped onto the pram handle if used on their own without the bag.
Since PacaPod Sydney is a leather bag it’s heavier than some of the other styles, but it feels very long-lasting and it’s pretty perfect for someone like me who’s always out and about and needs a durable bag. The Sydney also fits my much-loved laptop, and can be made either compact or roomy with the help of an expansion zipper. Only the best for mum!
